# The new shape of the studio — 15-08-2026 **Studio · restructuring proposal · judged on the live site, [studio.smartrules.ai](https://studio.smartrules.ai)** Human view: [`studio-reshuffle-15-08-2026.html`](studio-reshuffle-15-08-2026.html) · Builds on: [`studio-review-15-08-2026.md`](studio-review-15-08-2026.md) (its ten findings taken as given) **Where this stands, 18-08-2026.** Frank said yes to the seven chips with Screens replacing Tools, and yes to building. **Steps 1 and 2 are done on the Mac and not yet published**: the server serves markdown as text, the front door carries the seven chips and nineteen cards, the find bar finds, `formats/index.html` and `taste.html` exist, `all.html` is sorted by family, every page but the three copyable templates carries one top bar, and nothing in the folder is unreachable. **Step 3, the cut, is part done.** Steps 4 to 6 are not started. The live site still shows the old shape until someone runs `publish.sh`. **No score.** Proposals only; each carries its one line of why. --- ## 1 · The studio today **The numbers.** 118 pages in 15 folders. 19 cards under 7 chips reach 19 of them. About 55 pages are reachable only through the closed band at the bottom of [all.html](../all.html) — and being markdown, most download instead of opening. One page is reachable from nowhere at all. **Three navigations that disagree.** The chips say seven families. The top bar says eleven links, and they are not the seven. [all.html](../all.html) says six bands — The rules · Motion · Formats · Country leaflets · Inspiration · Everything else — and they are neither the seven nor the eleven. Three sortings of one library; a reader learns none of them. ### The 19 cards | Card | Chip | Opens | What it really is | |---|---|---|---| | Putting it online | Publishing | [publishing/](../publishing/index.html) | The three roads to a link | | Our page design rules | Documents | [documentation-compendium.html](../documentation-compendium.html) | Type, spacing, colour, blocks | | The ready document formats | Documents | [all.html#formats](../all.html#formats) | An anchor into the catch-all page; four of its tiles say 404 | | The user manual | Documents | [manuals/](../manuals/index.html) | The software at its best, real screens | | The UI review | Documents | [ui-review/](index.html) | Screens and pages reviewed, findings with repairs | | The design benches | Inspiration | [benches/](../benches/index.html) | Where a project parks visual ideas | | The register of a document | Documents | [register/](../register/index.html) | The voice the prose is written in | | Illustrate a concept | Diagrams | [diagramas/](../diagramas/index.html) | 2D and 3D concept illustrations | | Put a speaker in the page | Speakers | [people/](../people/index.html) | Sizes, features, costs of a speaker | | Make your own speaker | Speakers | [make-your-own.html](../people/make-your-own.html) | The wizard; its three road pages exist but are not linked | | Give a page a voice | Speakers | [voice/](../voice/index.html) | The voice page | | Speak to the machine | Speakers | [voice/](../voice/index.html) | The same voice page, same picture — a duplicate | | The guide | Speakers | [guide/](../guide/index.html) | A person you talk with | | Make pages move | Motion | [motion-design.html](../motion/motion-design.html) | The recipes — skips the family's own front page | | Ideas: sites, images, motion, films | Inspiration | [inspiration/](../inspiration/index.html) | The galleries | | Reduce cost with your own factory | Tools | [factory.html](../people/factory.html) | The speaker factory; its own breadcrumb says Speakers | | Send mail as your domain | Tools | [mail/branded-mail.html](../mail/branded-mail.html) | How a message reaches someone | | Show a body, and put it straight | Motion | [body/](../body/index.html) | A before-and-after drawing grammar | | Make a film | Motion | [film.html](../film.html) | Film recipes | ### The 15 folders, page by page Reachable = a card or a family page links it. Buried = only the closed band of all.html. Each folder, what it holds, who reads it: **root (17).** The spine and the registers. [README.md](../README.md) (the text spine) · [documentation-compendium.html](../documentation-compendium.html) + [documentation-design.md](../documentation-design.md) (the design rules and their source) · [tools.html](../tools.html) + tools.md (the tool register, view + source) · [skills.html](../skills.html) (the install page) · [taste.md](../taste.md) (Frank's look verdicts — buried) · [film.html](../film.html) + film-annex-animation-studio.md · franks-baseline-ux.md (the nine pre-flight rules — buried) · document-families.md (paper colour per world — buried) · impeccable-integration.md, implementation-proof-pipeline.md, image-models-for-skills-2026-08.md, inbox.md (session papers — buried) · [all.html](../all.html) · [index.html](../index.html). **people (10).** The speaker shelf. [The family page](../people/index.html), [the wizard](../people/make-your-own.html), [the factory](../people/factory.html), the three road pages ([existing](../people/speaker-existing.html) · [new](../people/speaker-new.html) · [yourself](../people/speaker-yourself.html)) — all reachable. [engine-comparison/](../people/engine-comparison/index.html) is reachable from **nowhere**, not even the catch-all: `build-index.py` misses second-level folders. Three md working papers (a message draft for Nelson, a skill brief already built, a half-superseded status report). **motion (20).** The biggest family. [The family page](../motion/index.html) · [the recipes](../motion/motion-design.html) · [Frank's criteria](../motion/criteria.html) (22 numbered verdicts) · seven reference prompts, each an HTML view over a source md · three dated research papers of 08-08. The html views are linked; the ten source md are buried by design (the studio's own convention: **the md is the source, the html is Frank's view** — declared in the md headers). **inspiration (22).** [The galleries page](../inspiration/index.html) · [trends](../inspiration/trends.html) · [the liked bank](../inspiration/liked/index.html) (4 banked models + the shown-log) · the ten Viktor Oddy digests (buried behind one bare folder link) · a studied reference pair (screensdesign) · one closed review. **kennedy (16).** The digested learnui.design corpus, layer ② of the method. Only the hub [_index.md](../kennedy/_index.md) is linked anywhere — and the hub names its own chapters in backticks, not links, so **Frank cannot click to any of the 15 digests**. Five files are dead weight: the `_root-pack-absorbed-safe-to-delete/` folder (its name is its verdict) and an unverified cheat sheet. **formats (8).** Five format doctrines (vision paper, simple table, proposal note, concept note, implementation plan) + three exemplars. No index page: the card opens an anchor in all.html, `/formats/` answers 403, and five of the eight files are buried. **voice (6).** One live page ([the family page](../voice/index.html)) + five leftovers of a finished icon decision ("for your verdict" pages whose verdict was rendered). **ui-review (6).** [The doctrine page](index.html) + five dated papers of the 15-08 self-review (spec ×2, findings ×2, a one-shot prompt). **guide (3).** [The family page](../guide/index.html) + two dated research annexes, all linked. **benches (3).** [The bench doctrine](../benches/index.html) + [Central](../benches/central/index.html) + [ABC Colombia](../benches/abc-colombia/index.html), all linked. **mail (2).** [The recipe](../mail/branded-mail.html) + its source md, both linked. **register · manuals · publishing · diagramas · body (1 each).** One doctrine page each, all carded, all reachable. --- ## 2 · The shape proposed **Seven chips again — but not the same seven.** Tools leaves: once its two cards move to their true families it holds nothing, and a register is a banner, not a family (it already IS the second banner on the front door). Screens arrives: the kind of page Frank asked for most in the last four weeks — drawing a software screen, the demo, the boards — is the kind the studio never held. Everything else keeps its name; "Motion & films" becomes **Motion**, one name for chip and badge alike. **Documents · Screens · Speakers · Motion · Diagrams · Inspiration · Publishing** ### The 24 cards proposed **Documents — 4 cards.** What a prose page is made of. | Card | Opens | Change, and why | |---|---|---| | Our page design rules | [documentation-compendium.html](../documentation-compendium.html) | Stays. Gains the Kennedy shelf as a linked shelf — today Frank cannot click to any of its 15 digests | | The ready document formats | formats/index.html — **new page** | The card today opens an anchor in the catch-all page with four broken tiles. A real page holds the seven shapes, the five buried format doctrines, and the country-leaflet shelf | | The register of a document | [register/](../register/index.html) | Stays | | Photographs in a page | **new page** | The images chapter promised 19-07 and never written; SCRC is waiting on exactly this doctrine (cut-outs, credits, image bands) | **Screens — 5 cards.** Software shown in a page. The new family: four of the seven gaps of the last weeks are one kind of thing. | Card | Opens | Change, and why | |---|---|---| | Draw a screen | **new page** | His most repeated ask (19-07, 22-07, 05-08, 06-08, 13-08, 17-08, four streams). The mockup vocabulary sits in the inbox and the eR kit is invisible from here; "mockup" finds nothing | | The demo of an app | **new page** | Asked 02-08, shown to City Halls, named "la forma ya probada" 17-08. The `app-demo` skill exists; the studio never names it | | The boards | **new page** | Frank's own board-anatomy verdict of 29-07 sits parked in the inbox while boards multiply weekly; "board" finds nothing | | The user manual | [manuals/](../manuals/index.html) | Moves from Documents: a manual is real screens of software | | The UI review | [ui-review/](index.html) | Moves from Documents: its object is screens and pages, and a reader hunting "review my screens" will not press Documents | **Speakers — 5 cards.** A person in the page. | Card | Opens | Change, and why | |---|---|---| | Put a speaker in the page | [people/](../people/index.html) | Stays | | Make your own speaker | [make-your-own.html](../people/make-your-own.html) | Stays; the page links its three road pages, which exist and are live but unlinked today | | Voice | [voice/](../voice/index.html) | **Merge** of "Give a page a voice" + "Speak to the machine": two cards, one page, one picture — the reader spends a choice on nothing | | The guide | [guide/](../guide/index.html) | Stays | | The speaker factory | [factory.html](../people/factory.html) | Moves from Tools and drops the old title: its own breadcrumb already says Speakers | **Motion — 2 cards.** Pages that move. | Card | Opens | Change, and why | |---|---|---| | Make pages move | [motion/](../motion/index.html) | **Retargeted** to the family's own front page, which today no card reaches; the recipes stay one click in, large | | Make a film | [film.html](../film.html) | Stays | **Diagrams — 3 cards.** Drawings that say the idea. | Card | Opens | Change, and why | |---|---|---| | Illustrate a concept | [diagramas/](../diagramas/index.html) | Stays | | Show a body, and put it straight | [body/](../body/index.html) | Moves from Motion: two of its three roads are drawings. The files stay in `body/`; the card's search words keep "motion" | | Charts | **new page** | Data in a page: parked since 03-07, the house `dataviz` skill unnamed anywhere, and Central is a financial tool | **Inspiration — 3 cards.** Where ideas come from, and what Frank ruled. | Card | Opens | Change, and why | |---|---|---| | The galleries | [inspiration/](../inspiration/index.html) | Retitled from "Ideas: sites, images, motion, films" — a name, not a list | | The design benches | [benches/](../benches/index.html) | Stays | | Taste | taste.html — **new page** | The failed errand: "what did Frank refuse" is today the hardest thing in the studio to reach. An HTML view of [taste.md](../taste.md), beside the liked bank it judges; it links the other verdict registries ([motion criteria](../motion/criteria.html), presentation criteria) | **Publishing — 2 cards.** How a page reaches someone. | Card | Opens | Change, and why | |---|---|---| | Putting it online | [publishing/](../publishing/index.html) | Stays — the review's best page | | Send mail as your domain | [mail/branded-mail.html](../mail/branded-mail.html) | Moves from Tools: the publishing page's own first line — how a thing reaches someone — is what mail is | ### The frame around the cards **One top bar on every page.** Studio · the seven families · All pages. A page's own sections go on a second line. Today: twenty-one pages, twenty-one different bars, and the body page has none. **all.html sorted the way the door is sorted.** Seven family bands, open, each with its count — replacing today's six bands, which are a third taxonomy. One further band, **Machine files**, holds the md sources under their own convention (the md is the source, the html is Frank's view). The formats band becomes the formats page; the country-leaflet tiles go with it. **The find bar finds.** Split what is typed on spaces, keep a card that holds every word; when nothing matches, say so and offer All pages. One suggestion list on both bars. "colour" and "color" both listed. Today *speaker sizes*, *before and after* and *taste* all return a blank page. **Markdown opens as text.** One line in the nginx configuration on louis, and the sixty-five links that today drop a file in Downloads open as pages. **Retire the working papers.** 15 files to `_archive/` — the five voice icon pages of a decided decision, four stale Kennedy papers, the review spec pair and the one-shot prompt, the Nelson message draft, the built skill brief, the closed beautifului review — and 4 to delete: the `_root-pack-absorbed-safe-to-delete/` folder, whose name is its verdict. **Repair the tools that keep the studio tidy.** `build-index.py` misses second-level folders (it lost [engine-comparison](../people/engine-comparison/index.html) entirely) and does not credit family-page links (it reports 78 buried; the true count is about 55). Fix both, then the catch-all band tells the truth. **One name per thing.** The card, the page's own bar and the H1 carry the same name. Today the design rules page answers to four names ("Our page design rules" · "Design rules" · "UI/UX compendium" · "A page that speaks before it is read"), the mail page to two, all.html to three. A reader sent by one name cannot recognise the page under another. **One page owns each state.** The per-speaker status (Zalia live · Valentina closed · Grace parked) is told on three pages — [people/](../people/index.html), [guide/](../guide/index.html), [voice/](../voice/index.html) — and one copy has already drifted: voice still says Valentina is live, three weeks after her buttons were withdrawn. The speakers page owns the status; the others link it. Same rule for the finish verdict ([factory](../people/factory.html) owns it; people still offers the routes it rejected) and for the Code Wiki study (the [liked bank](../inspiration/liked/index.html) owns it; motion re-analyses it). **What does not change.** The card grammar (picture, badge, name, one line). The two banners. The folders on disk — cards and links move, files mostly stay. The two modes, document and pièce. The README as spine — slimmed to one line and a link per family, as the review already proposed. --- ## 3 · Section by section Twenty-one live pages photographed again 18-08 at 1440 px and 390 px; captures in [`studio-reshuffle-15-08-2026/`](studio-reshuffle-15-08-2026/). All ten findings of 15-08 re-measured and still standing, except one: [inspiration/](../inspiration/index.html) gained 27 real thumbnails. Per page, what the fresh look adds: **[The front door](../index.html).** The top bar's eleven links mirror one family's folder (four of eleven are Speakers sub-pages), not the seven chips directly below them. On a phone the teal banner still runs one or two words per line for ~470 px. "Criteria" in the bar is a page with no card and no explanation. **[all.html](../all.html).** Three names for one page: the bar says "All pages", the front door says "full searchable library", the H1 says "UI/UX library". The breadcrumb literally reads "← Studio: index.html" — a filename shown to the reader. Six closed bands is all the first screen shows; 68 links download. **[The design rules](../documentation-compendium.html).** The longest page in the studio: 11,800 px, 13 screens, under four different names. The glance document — the shape every page in the workspace is supposed to follow — sits at 80% of the scroll, 9,400 px down. The most-cited doctrine in the studio is its deepest-buried content. **[The user manual](../manuals/index.html).** Clean: answers on screen 1, two real Vox Populi captures, phone clean. The separation law ("the review never lives inside the manual") is stated here and mirrored on [ui-review/](index.html) — one page should own it. **[The UI review](index.html).** Clean and short. Its finding grammar restates the review spec, which is not linked. **[The design benches](../benches/index.html).** Checked true: three benches, dates right, the private SCRC tile honestly unpictured. Nothing to repair. **[The register](../register/index.html).** One intruder: "A machine that writes whole books" — a review of the gemini-writer tool — sits at 75% depth of a page about the voice of prose. It belongs in the tool register. **[Diagramas](../diagramas/index.html).** Still 2 px of sideways scroll at 390 px; prose line-height 1.25, lines touch. "Waiting for top-up" state undated on the row. **[The speakers page](../people/index.html).** Contradicts its own sister: § "How sharp she is" still offers the quick and slow enlargement finishes that [the factory](../people/factory.html) rejected on 07-08 ("the best-looking parts are born, not repainted"). Third copy of the speaker status. On a phone it scrolls 147 px sideways and Valentina's floating card sits on top of the two-laws text. **[Make your own speaker](../people/make-your-own.html).** Zero images — a wizard about faces with no face shown. Its only two links are `.md` downloads, one of which is a ready-to-send personal message to a named colleague, published on the live site. The three road pages exist and are still not linked. **[The factory](../people/factory.html).** Self-consistent and dated; its verdict is what makes the speakers page stale. Still badged Tools while its breadcrumb says Speakers. **[Voice](../voice/index.html).** The clearest dated contradiction in the studio: stamped 31-07, it still claims Valentina and the Lesotho guide are live, while [guide/](../guide/index.html) (06-08) says one guide is live and [people/](../people/index.html) says Valentina's buttons were withdrawn 02-08. Its engine table is a second tool register. The dictation half — what the "Speak to the machine" card promises — starts 45% down an 8-screen page, with no anchor. **[The guide](../guide/index.html).** Holds the correct status the voice page contradicts. A page about two women who speak shows no picture of either. Phone: 326 px sideways scroll, the worst in the studio. **[Motion](../motion/index.html).** Three stacked navigation rows, one of which downloads the README. Reachable from no card — the Motion card opens [the recipes](../motion/motion-design.html) instead. Re-analyses Code Wiki, which the [liked bank](../inspiration/liked/index.html) already banks, and restates the speaker doctrine that [people/](../people/index.html) owns. **[The recipes](../motion/motion-design.html).** The studio's best-illustrated link list (26 links, 26 pictures). Its subtitle points the reader at a filename ("The visual map is index.html"). **[Show a body](../body/index.html).** Twelve pictures against six links — the picture rule's best page. Still no navigation at all: the only way back is the browser button. **[The galleries](../inspiration/index.html).** The one visible repair since 15-08: 27 real thumbnails, all answering 200. About forty links still naked; lazy-loading shows blank boxes until the reader scrolls. **[The liked bank](../inspiration/liked/index.html).** Checked against its folder: all four models live, pictured, dated. Clean. **[Mail](../mail/branded-mail.html).** Repair 10 of 15-08 not applied: the false "Nothing on this page is installed" is still the Status section's last word. The one real pending step — the key onto the Vox Populi server — is buried mid-block. The card and the H1 disagree on the page's name. **[Make a film](../film.html).** The series recipe and the short-film recipe start at 50% and 85% of the page; the card ("Ready film recipes") gives no scent of either. Two of six links pictured. **[Publishing](../publishing/index.html).** Still the page the others should copy: answer on screen 1, claims verified, phone clean. --- ## 4 · The cookbook pass 109 pages swept. 62 blocks of self-commentary found: 38 to delete, 24 borderline. 11 titles to rename. The judgement records — [taste.md](../taste.md), [motion criteria](../motion/criteria.md), [franks-baseline-ux.md](../franks-baseline-ux.md) — are content, not commentary, and were left alone. Page by page, the quote and the reason: **[mail/branded-mail.html](../mail/branded-mail.html) — the worst page.** Three closing paragraphs narrate states in time order: "02-08-2026: recipe proven on Vox Populi… this note updates once the first branded mail lands…" · "**15-08-2026, later the same day: it works.** Frank opened the account…" · "**The morning of 15-08-2026, before that, it was not done at all.** Nothing on this page is installed…" — a diary, ending on a superseded state. Keep the current state and the one remaining step; delete the chronology. Twin blocks in the source md, same cut. **[README.md](../README.md).** "**The complaint that opened this.** Frank asked for three modern options and got three pages that looked the same… He was right…" (origin story) · "Opened 2026-07-31…" · "Captured 2026-07-19 from four sources Frank gave." · "Added 15-08-2026, from the skill non-ai-style." · "Opened 15-08-2026, its own family because it is a different kind of thing…" (self-justification) · the whole closing "## History" section ("Born 2026-07-03 from the typography specialist's adversarial diagnosis…"). Six provenance blocks and an autobiography; the rules stand alone without them. **[tools.html](../tools.html).** The entire Housekeeping section ("Done 09-08-2026 — moved, nothing deleted" · "Two defects — done 09-08-2026" · "All eleven files now sit in _archive/…") — an account of housekeeping on Frank's browsable page; it belongs in a handover. Footer: "Built 09-08-2026. Living document — new tools are assessed the same way and added here." — the page talking about itself. Same disease in tools.md ("Cuts done 09-08-2026…", a fixed defect kept as strikethrough narrative). **[register/index.html](../register/index.html).** Meta: "added 15-08-2026, from the skill non-ai-style" · "**One thing was taken out of it, 15-08-2026.** The skill used to end by signing every document… Removed on Frank's word…" — the edit history of a skill, narrated inside the page. Keep the surviving rule as one line. **[ui-review/index.html](index.html).** "**The studio reviews itself too.** A specification… is written and waiting for Frank's verdict" — a proposal-for-verdict inside a page (and the review since ran). Meta: "founded 12-08-2026, first client Vox Populi". **[manuals/index.html](../manuals/index.html).** Meta: "founded 12-08-2026, first client Vox Populi (« Mairie de Valmont »)". **[publishing/index.html](../publishing/index.html).** "**Why this exists.** A page on the Mac helps nobody." — a why-this-page-exists block · "opened 15-08-2026" · "installed 15-08-2026". **[documentation-design.md](../documentation-design.md).** "Captured 2026-07-19 from four sources Frank gave, mined by four agents." · the closing "## Next (proposed, not built)" section — all three of its items now exist; a stale plan narrating its own past. **[documentation-compendium.html](../documentation-compendium.html).** "This kit did not invent its vocabulary. It reviewed four sources and kept what survived…" — the page recounting its own making; the source-and-verdict table below it is the sanctioned record and stays. **[people/index.html](../people/index.html).** "**Why this box exists.** On 10-08-2026 the rule was already written… and the session did not open it before spending…" — a session's confession; the two laws stand alone. "Both were learned the expensive way, twice." **people/mensaje-para-nelson.md.** "**Para Frank.** El asistente ya existe… **Tú decidiste esperar al paquete público**…" — a narrated decision wrapped around a message draft (the file retires to _archive either way). **[voice/index.html](../voice/index.html).** "Added 12-08-2026, because it turned out to be the half we had never written down." — provenance plus self-commentary in a dek. **voice/visual-proposal.html + icon-candidates.html.** "Voice: the drawings, for your verdict" · "pick one per row" — two approval-request pages whose verdict was rendered; archive with their three siblings. **[motion/](../motion/index.html) reference files.** "**What this is.** The second recreation prompt Frank captured from Viktor Oddy's work (31-07-2026)…" and the same "What this is" label on three more references · motion-design.md: "Opened 31-07-2026; rebuilt as a cookbook 02-08-2026." · research-entrance-images: "This file is research; the recipe is the next step." and a section titled "(for Frank's verdict)". **[film.html](../film.html).** "An evaluation of what this improves in our skills is underway; nothing is folded in without Frank's verdict." · "Frank adds new ones as he finds them." · "opened 02-08-2026". **[diagramas/index.html](../diagramas/index.html).** Footer (a class literally named "prov"): "Born 06-08-2026 from the Sistema ABC concept note… Frank's verdict: these examples are the start of the house skill; other subjects will come…" — keep the two method pointers, delete the narration. **[body/index.html](../body/index.html).** Footer: "opened 14-08-2026, from an advert Frank found." **[benches/index.html](../benches/index.html).** Meta: "benches linked here 15-08-2026". **[inspiration/index.html](../inspiration/index.html).** "Added 08-08-2026." on the Design Spells card · "This is the reference library the fun-expert agent was missing." **[skills.html](../skills.html).** "…six recipes, cleaned for sharing." — how-it-was-made. **[all.html](../all.html).** "Doctrine + the reference prompts, opened 31-07-2026." **[impeccable-integration.md](../impeccable-integration.md).** The closing "## Installation note" — an installation war story ("The official interactive installer stalled…"). **kennedy/adoption-proposal.md.** "For Frank's approval. Five gaps, two half-answers, and seven skills the studio has never heard of. | His ask | His words, date, where | In the studio? | |---|---|---| | Draw a software screen in a page | Hand-built mockups beat scaled iframes (19-07) · the RAB drawing format (22-07) · the eRegulations screens board (05/06-08) · "clickable mockups of the two surfaces" (13-08, BellaMusic) · `/abc/pantallas` live for the government (17-08) | ✖ An inbox note since 19-07; the eR mockup kit invisible from here; "mockup" finds nothing | | The demo of an app | "we will use it to build a nice demo when the app is ready" (02-08) · presented to City Halls · "la forma ya probada" (17-08, ABC) | ✖ The `app-demo` skill is a register row; no card, no page; "demo" finds nothing | | A board | His board-anatomy verdict (29-07, BO execution view) · cockpit, tablero, changes-to-services weekly | ✖ The verdict sits in the inbox; "board", "dashboard" find nothing | | The front page a counterpart receives | "All the pages, one page" (12-08, ABC) · the Sistema ABC Index (13-08) · the eRegulations index (11-08) | ✖ The `counterpart-intake-page` skill has zero studio mentions — proposed as a tile on the new formats page | | Charts | Parked 03-07; the ICA mini-chart (13-08); Central is a financial tool | ✖ The `dataviz` skill unnamed; "chart", "table" find nothing | | Photographs in a page | SCRC: cut-outs, Commons credits, image bands per room (09-08) | HALF — the images chapter "pending" since 19-07, nothing written | | A presentation | Two City Halls; Central and EBS team decks; his deck criteria at `4 - Central/presentation/criteria.md` | HALF — "deck" is a tile and a search word; no page owns the practice, the criteria registry unlinked | **The skills the studio never names.** `venture-pack` · `counterpart-intake-page` · `courrier-officiel` · `compte-rendu-de-reunion` · `payment-brochure` · `law-to-html` · `narrated-page` — the last one lives in the studio's own public pack. Each is a document format Frank asked for once; each belongs as a tile on the new formats page, one line and a thumbnail. --- ## 6 · The order of work **Step 1 — the server, minutes.** Markdown served as text (one nginx line on louis) · a favicon · delete the root-pack folder · resize the card images (3.8 MB front door → well under 1 MB). **Step 2 — the reshuffle, one build session.** The chips, the 24 cards, the moves and merges and retitles · one top bar stamped on every page · the find bar fixed on both pages · all.html rebuilt by family · the formats page assembled from what exists · taste.html rendered from taste.md · 15 retirements to `_archive/` · `build-index.py` repaired · card thumbnails recaptured · republish. **Step 3 — the cut, one session.** The 38 commentary deletions and 11 retitles of section 4 applied in one pass — after the moves, because moving three cards changes the text anyway. **Step 4 — the new pages, one small session each, in this order.** Draw a screen (the ask repeated across four streams) · the demo · the boards · charts · photographs in a page. Each has its skill or its parked verdict already written; the page assembles, it does not invent. **Step 5 — the phone and the finitions, half a session.** The four sideways-scrolling pages · the 497 px banner · the paragraphs that touch. **Step 6 — the proof, half a session.** page-review on every page, `build-index.py --check` to a truthful zero, the five errands re-run from the front door, republish. **Cost.** No purchase, no service, no rented computer. About four full sessions and two half sessions after Frank's verdicts on section 2. --- ## For the AI Evidence gathered 18-08-2026 against the live site: full-file inventory (118 pages), fresh captures at 1440/390 px in [`studio-reshuffle-15-08-2026/`](studio-reshuffle-15-08-2026/), commentary sweep (109 pages), asks harvested from `5 - Handovers/` since 25-07.
