Code-based video renderer · Video
HeyGen's open-source framework that turns an HTML page with timed animations into an MP4. Claude writes each scene as a web page and renders it; a change edits one line and re-renders.
Motion-graphics explainers and product films when the scenes are closer to web pages than to video, especially reusing a site's own HTML and CSS.
Not a generative video model and not a timeline editor. Not needed for the family video, which already runs on Remotion.

Rendered MP4 video
Command-line tool plus a browser studio; renders with headless Chrome and FFmpeg on your own machine.
Provider capabilities and historical Studio notes are distinguished below. Current account access, credits and runtime readiness were not tested.
Free, own computer.
Local render; nothing leaves the machine.
Renders any text you give it.
Same job as Remotion with a plainer format: HTML instead of React, a friendlier Apache-2.0 licence and no company-size limit. Below Remotion only because Remotion is proven in delivered Studio work and HyperFrames is not.
Decision: Try it on one motion-graphics film built from an existing web page. Keep Remotion for the family video.
Rival to Remotion. Same promise: every frame is exact and a change is a re-render, not a restart. Licence is simpler than Remotion's, which is free only up to three employees for companies.
